April gives us rain and showers,
May brings brilliant flowers,
June equals unbearable heat,
July, holidays that can't be beat.
And then August came,
But all it brought her was shame.
It was only once, a mistake,,
But unfortunatly thats all it takes.
She only wanted to have fun,
But one bad descision and she was done.

Who down cigarettes with ease,
Who does anything to keep everyone appeased?
She slowly dug her own grave,

Cowardly, some say,

Someone to help her stand?

But where will she be when they're gone?
One by one, piece by piece
Life was giving her a new lease.
She grabbed the chance at a new life,
She would marry and be a good wife.
She would live happily, forever
But this would happen never.
Just follow the path, towards the light,
But she's been in the dark so long, it's too bright.
The pills, the parties and the beer
Kept tempting her "Come Here."
Zoloft only raises you so high,
Before you feel like you should die.
How could she know,
She had no where to go.
1 pill, 2, 3, 4,
Mabye just a half a glass more.
They found her on the bathroom floor.
Life was a party, no more.
They grieved for her day and night,
Crying and wondering when she gave up the fight.
She was a good girl they'd say,
But it all ended on one day.
He called her under the bleachers,
None saw, not even the teachers.
As she felt the life in her grow,
She drifted farther, they'd never know.
